I'm thrilled to write this today. Talking about shows and movies are one of my favorite pastimes. And I'm back with one of my faves: RuPaul’s Drag Race. Consider this part of my personal legend's side quest to appear on the show, whether as a guest judge or in the family resemblance challenge. I dream big!
If you’re brand new to Drag Race universe, this won’t catch you up on ing, but it will get you up to speed on the current season, which is full of twists, in very RuPaul fashion.

Table of Contents
👑 DragRace 101
RuPaul's Drag Race pits a group of drag queens against each other in a series of challenges to determine "America's Next Drag Superstar." And this summer it's back with season 10 of the RuPaul's Drag Race, All Stars franchise - the energetic, high stake, Emmy-slaying cousin of the main series. The show has won a total of 30 Emmy Awards, making it the most-awarded reality competition series in Emmy history. RuPaul, the host and executive producer, holds the record for the most Emmy wins by a drag performer, with 14 awards to his name.
🌀 This Season’s Twist: The Game of 3s
This season, 18 queens are competing for up to $200,000. However, instead of one big group, they're split into 3 brackets, each lasting three 3 or episodes. No queens are eliminated during the bracket. Instead, they rack up points based on performance, with the top 3 scorers from each bracket moving on to the semifinals. It's Drag Race, so you know it's been fierce, creative, and absolutely hilarious.
The point System:
Each week, the top 2 queens earn 2 points and face off in a lip sync for an extra point and a $10,000 cash prize. The remaining 4 queens don’t score challenge points — but they still hold power.nThey each vote for the Most Valuable Queen (MVQ) - the person who showed the most growth or their public or secret alliances... The MVQ earns 1 bonus point, which can be a game-changer on the road to the semifinals.
